Due to some changes in our plans, we ended up arriving almost an hour earlier than our reservation time... They were very accommodating and helpful. “ Grill Stove is a popular, long-established Western restaurant in Ishiyama. I finally visited with my family for dinner. It was a wonderful restaurant that taught me the deliciousness of Western cuisine, neither French nor Italian. The hamburger steak was chewy, and the more I chewed it, the more flavorful it became, not greasy. The angel fried shrimp was large, with a sweet aroma that hit me the moment I took a bite. The smooth cream croquette was infused with the subtle flavor of crab. The winter-only fried oysters, just arrived this season, were huge and fresh, with a firm, plump texture! According to the owner-chef, these oysters are still small, as they're just starting to arrive. The shrimp heads, which I was advised were "edible, even the heads," were lightly battered and almost deep-fried, giving off a crispy, fragrant flavor that oozed out with sweetness and umami. The tough parts of the horns were neatly trimmed off, making it incredibly easy to eat. The tartar sauce, despite being fried, doesn't feel heavy, likely thanks to the sauce. Rich and smooth, yet not overpoweringly acidic, it's perfectly balanced. The smooth, smooth potage soup, carefully strained to bring out the flavor of the potatoes, would make a stand-alone dish. The delicious marinade, which skillfully suppresses the sardine's strong odor while not overpowering the vinegar, is also incredibly well-crafted. Every detail is meticulously crafted. Every dish is carefully selected for its high-quality ingredients, and no detail is cut corners, from the cooking process to the balance of the sauces and dressings and the quality of the olive oil. The dishes were made with great care and sincerity, and the owner-chef's modest, gentle smile truly exuded his personality. The food wasn't flashy, but the high level of perfection was clear upon tasting it. Even with a 2,000 yen lunch, I can see why this restaurant remains so popular and requires reservations. It was a great place that made me realize once again how nice it is to have a great Western restaurant nearby. Even though it was a Wednesday night and the restaurant was almost full, even though it was run by a single chef, customers kept coming in and out, and the owner-chef seemed overwhelmed with cooking, service, and the billing. He worked hard, serving customers with a smile and preparing food. It must be tough for a chef at a popular restaurant. Thanks for the meal. I'll come back again when I want to eat delicious Western food. ”

“ Lunch on the way back from accompanying my parents to the hospital. My dad wanted to go to Gusto, so I led him to this place I've been wanting to go to for a while (lol). It was around 1pm, so we were able to get in without any problems. I think there were four counter seats and four table seats. I ordered three stove specials. A hamburger steak, two fried angel shrimp, and a crab cream croquette - what a treat!! As you can see from the photo, the fried angel shrimp was absolutely amazing. As they say, "You can even eat the head," it was delicious! (lol) The meat was thick and tasty. The hamburger steak wasn't one of those modern burgers that you can drink the juice from, but rather had a nice texture. Apparently they use minced Akaushi beef and SPF pork. Isn't Marutomi the only butcher around here that sells Akaushi beef? Where do you get SPF??? It's sterile pork, you know? The video turned out a bit disappointing, but I'd love for everyone to actually go and try it. However... my parents complained that their bottoms hurt when they sat there. (*´Д`) Credit cards are accepted. And you can pay by table... These are the times. The parking lot isn't in the lot next to the restaurant, but on the other side, across the side street, about two or three houses down, in a spot that can accommodate two cars. It's along the main road in front of the restaurant. ”

“ It's located near Heiwado, about a 3-minute walk from the bus terminal side of JR Ishiyama Station, heading towards Lake Biwa. This is a traditional Western restaurant, where everything is delicious, from the angel shrimp fry to the juicy hamburger steak. We especially recommend the angel shrimp fry, where you can eat a shrimp that's about 15cm in diameter from head to tail. The fragrant texture of the shrimp and the rich flavor of the homemade tartar sauce combine to create a blissful moment. We also recommend it because it's reasonably priced. ”

“ I made a reservation because there was a 500 yen discount on Hot Pepper Gourmet. There was no parking lot, so I parked at the nearby Heiwado, so I gave it 4 stars for that reason, but the food is 5 stars! Crispy fried shrimp that you can eat from head to tail!
